"This place is a must if you are in Rome. Just a few streets from the Vatican museum, but far enough away from the crowds. Locals eat here so you know that means it’s good! I had a calzone, which was massive but wasn’t expensive. It was delicious!"

"Ordered the strozapretti bacon and porcini mushrooms and not sure I was given the right pasta? Still tasted delicious though and really flavourful. Bacon was very crispy - delicious and sauce coated the past perfectly. Also had the supli which was a nice starter and the mushroom and prosciutto pizza. Staff are friendly and the old photos on the wall give a family run vibe."

The carbonara was simply perfect – made with guanciale, pecorino, and egg, with no trace of cream, just the way it should be. The ravioli with fresh pasta had a silky texture and a delicious filling that melted in your mouth; you can tell they make it fresh every day with care and passion. The traditional artichoke was tender, fragrant, and full of flavor, while the supplì were crispy on the outside and creamy inside – pure comfort in every bite.
